Lorenzo (Torreón, Coahuila, 1985) Torreonita by birth, cosmopolitan by choice. He finished his architectural career at an early age to realize that he loved the construction of all those who surround his extravagant mind, both in volume and on paper. He began to create things to avoid going to the psychologist without realizing that this would delineate the lines that today shape his life. Eccentric, bohemian and baroque to the core, everything is part of your search for happiness. He studied in the architecture department and quickly focused on art taking painting classes with Gustavo Montes to later enter the Chanate graphics workshop, where he studied for 6 years with Miguel Canseco, took courses with different masters recognized in the art such as: the Castro Leñero, Nunnik Sauret, Gilberto Aceves Navarro, Jose Fors and Plinio Avila. A year later he moved to the federal district, where he began to work as an illustrator and architect, in 2011 he began studying ceramics with the teacher Hilda San Vicente, specializing in high temperature ceramics and techniques such as Raku and majolica. Mexico, its colors, its posters, its legends, the north, terregales, tolvaneras, esotericism, eroticism, flaws, imperfection and pop culture are recurring themes in the work of this charismatic Scorpio with a penetrating gaze. Lorenzo likes to treat his work in a plastic way where the piece and the space carry an intrinsic dialogue, always in a playful and sarcastic tinge. his work has been published by several national and international media, from magazines such as Nylon to newspapers such as the Reforma, as well as his work has been exhibited in several venues throughout the country. Lorenzo currently resides in San Miguel de Allende where he has his workshop, Lorenzo can be found in several galleries in Mexico City and in Queretaro, as well as in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Studies: Bachelor of Architecture, Universidad La Salle Laguna. 2003-2008 Engraving, Coahuila Institute for Culture, 2004-2009 Ceramics, Ceramica el Olvido, CDMX, 2011-2015

EXHIBITION
